Purpose of this Website

Welcome to our website about how to survive the recent financial crisis.  We, like everyone else are being affected by this event. in many different ways, and none of them good.  This crisis has found many of us or someone in your immediate family either without jobs or the very real possibility of losing your job in the near future.  There are many who are on the brink of losing your homes, and let's not forget those close to retirement that saw their 401Ks disappear almost overnight.  With all of this financial uncertainty and those that are certain that their finances have been reduced, people are spending less money.  So if you own any sort of business, even selling a few items out of your home, your customers are spending less and therefore, your business, and therefore you, the business owner, are making less money. So, now that everyone is in a pickle, except, of course the corporate moguls that put us all into this mess who will still have their million dollar bank accounts to fall back on during these hard times, we have to try and do what we can to ride out the storm.  This website is dedicated to helping everyone to do just that, help others to survive.  We will try to provide useful information and links to resources and ideas, but we hope that a great deal of the help will come from you in the forum with ideas, suggestions and information that you will pass on to each other.  Please note, we are not experts or financial planners, we are just regular people trying to survive, just like you.  We cannot guarantee that any of the links or things we post will solve your problems, but we hope in many ways that it will.
